Directorate of Judicial Police

I.1. DIRECTOR OF JUDICIAL POLICE

 Coordination and supervision of all activities of divisions and DJPO’s.

 Prepare the action plan of the directorate.

 Orientation of complaints and instructions thereof.

 Advise the Commissioner for CID in the field of Judicial Police.

 To make the last decision on issues of the D/Judicial Police.

 Give the report to the Commissioner for CID.

a.1. Administrative Assistant to the D/CID

 Organize the Office of the D/JUDPOL.

 Supervise the D/JUDPOL secretariat activities.

 Arrange the D/JUDPOL audiences.

 Checking incoming and outgoing letters and inform the D/JUDPOL as per their urgency.  Advise the D/JUDPOL on how to achieve the well running of CID activities.

 Update the D/JUDPOL on the running activities (meeting, urgent requests, etc…).

 Make the follow up of files handed to different divisions and DJPOs and ask them to meet the deadline.

 Read and summarize the incoming letters for the D/JUDPOL.

 Remind H/Divisions the feedback of required reports.

 Inform the beneficiary the decisions taken by the D/JUDPOL.

a.2. I/C of Quality Assurance

 Read the reports and files transferred to the Prosecution and make analysis thereof.

 To check the relevancy of the case file and if necessary suggest what to add for an additional statement to submit to the Prosecution.

 Categorise the reports according to their relevance (red, orange and green).

 Give the statistics of the increase and decrease of the reports categories.

 Check if all the coming complaints have been investigated and their reports done on time.

 Give a monthly report on the quality of the Directorate activities.

NB: This post is supposed to be in the Director’s office to guarantee his independence and the control of all divisions.

I.1.A. Head Division of Economic and Financial Crimes

 Coordinate and supervise the activities of the division.

 Prepare the action plan of the division.

 Orientation of complaints from D/JUDPOL according to the field of the complaint.

 Read the reports from JPOs, check their quality, add his opinion and send them to the D/JUDPOL.

 Give a monthly report on activities.

a. H/ Section (all sections)

 Receive complaints from the H/Division.

 Give the complaints to JPOs for investigation and instructions thereof.

 Follow up the daily evolution of investigation on cases given to JPO’s.

 Read the reports from JPOs before transmitting them to the H/Division.

 Give a weekly report on the evolution of investigation on received complaints.

 Give a monthly report on activities in the section

I.1.B. Head Serious Crimes Investigation (SCI)

 Coordinate and supervise the activities of the division.

 Prepare the action plan of the division.

 Orientation of complaints from D/JUDPOL according to the field of the complaint.

 Read the reports from JPOs, check their quality, add his opinion and send them to the D/JUDPOL .

a. H/Section (All sections)

 Receive complaints from the H/Division.

 Give the complaints to JPOs for investigation and instructions there of.

 Follow up the daily evolution of investigation on cases given to JPO’s.

 Read the reports from JPOs before transmitting them to the H/Division.

 Give a weekly report on the evolution of investigation on received complaints.

 Give a monthly report on activities in the section.

I.1.C. H/Anti Narcotics Unit (ANU)

 Coordinate and supervise the activities of the division.

 Prepare the action plan of the division.

 Orientation of complaints from D/JUDPOL according to the field of the complaint.

 Read the reports from JPOs, check their quality, add his opinion and send them to the D/JUDPOL.

a. H/Surveillance & Intelligence analysis

 Surveillance for information in relations to drug use.

 Analysis of information.

 Propagation of drug demand reduction and drug eradication policy.

 Reporting monthly on accomplished activities.

b. H/Operation and Reporting

 Design how to conduct operations.

 Conducting organized operations.

 Disseminate drug abuse education in different public.

 Reporting monthly on conducted operations.

I.1.D. H/ Anti-Gender Based Violence (A-GBV)

 Coordinate and supervise the activities of the division.

 Prepare the action plan of the division.

 Orientation of complaints from D/JUDPOL according to the field of the complaint.

 Read the reports from JPOs, check their quality, add his opinion and send them to the D/JUDPOL.

a. H/Child abuse Section

 Look for all information relating to the child rights abuse.

 Compiling criminal files on child abuse and apprehending suspects.

 Propagation of public policy relating to child rights and the need of their respect.

 Give monthly statistics on child abuse.

 Propagation of child abuse reduction and child abuse eradication policy.

Report monthly on conducted activities.

b. H/Domestic violence Section

 Look for all information relating to domestic violence.

 Compiling criminal files on domestic violence and apprehending suspects.

 Propagation of public policy relating to domestic violence.

 Give monthly statistics on domestic violence.

 Propagation of domestic violence reduction and eradication policy.

 Counselling domestic partners on occurring problems.

 Give a monthly report on activities

c. H/Non – Domestic Violence Section

 Look for all information relating to violence occurred in other places than home.

 Compiling criminal files on non-domestic violence and apprehending suspects.

 Propagation of public policy relating to non-domestic violence.

 Give monthly statistics on work place and else where violence.

 Propagation of non-domestic violence reduction and eradication policy.

 Counselling victims of violence occurring out of the family.
