Police Marine Unit
MISSSION
• To ensure excellent security for all waters users in our
territorial waters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining law and order in our territorial waters.
• Prevention of crimes and illegal trafficking carried out in our
territorial waters.
• To make a thorough control of our borders waters.
• To apprehend offenders in waters and process their dockets for prosecution.
• To search and rescue people, materials drown under waters.
TASK
a. C.O: Plan, organize, coordinate and control marine Police operations.
To execute the COMM/OPO orders.
To ensure thorough coordination with our partners.
b. JUDICIAL DEPARTEMENT
To receive complains against people.
To drown up files on sinners.
To apprehend sinners.
To send files to the prosecution.
c. INTELLIGENCE OFFICER
To control force discipline.
Prevention of crimes.
Research analysis of the information network
d. ADMIN OFFICER Promote the welfare for Police officers, control social cases in the unit.
e. I/C COMMUNICATION
To send, receive messages and inform those concerned. To maintain the communication equipments
f. SECRETARY
Send, receive and file correspondences concerning the unit.
g. SUPPORT SERVICE
Maintain the security of the store
h. POST COMMANDANT
Collaborate with local leader’s (Community Policing)
i. OPERATION OFFICER
To supervise, organize operations after he informs C.O for improvement
