DIGP Ujeneza meets Police FC in Ngoma training camp

On Sunday, September 26, Rwanda National Police (RNP) Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) in charge of Administration and Personnel, Jeanne Chantal Ujeneza, met and briefed players and the management of Police Football Club in Ngoma District, Eastern Province where the team is currently holding its residential training.

DIGP Ujeneza told the team that RNP expects a lot from them and that the institution will continue to support them to deliver best results in the forthcoming football tournaments for the 2021-2022 season.

"Rwanda National Police expects the best from you and my being here today is to express the support of the leadership in your training preparations. The support of any kind that RNP continues to extend to you should be translated into success and that starts now with your focus on training," DIGP Ujeneza said.

She urged them to maintain discipline, respect, teamwork and work hard with a collective winning mindset.

The new Police FC head coach, Francis Nuttall Elliot thanked the RNP leadership for supporting the team and pledged better performance in the forthcoming season.

"I have not been with this team for long, but I can happily say that what we requested to facilitate our training and other preparations, was delivered and in time. We have that debt to deliver," Nuttall.

All the players, he said, are available and training well and that the team looks forwards to its friendly match with Musanze FC scheduled for October 2.

The new coach, Nuttall, a UK national is assisted by Alain Kirasa and Nshuti Dominic Savio was appointed the new team captain. The club also recently signed Hakizimana Muhadjiri from AS Kigali.
