Rwanda National Police has been conducting awareness programmes to engage everyone, especially the general population against the vice, which has yielded positive results including arresting people involved and confiscating narcotics and illicit brew.

It is this will by the public that will combat this vice, according to Chief Superintendent Nsengiyumva.

“Since drug abuse threatens people’s lives as well as the economy, there is need for everybody to feel responsible of n fighting it through reporting all those involved,” he said.
