Meeting of Disaster Management Partnership at Police Headquarters
27 January 2010 : A meeting on Disaster Preparedness convened at KACYIRU POLICE CONFERENCE HALL on January 25th 2010. The meeting organized by The DISASTER MANAGEMENT CENTER was opened by CGP Emmanuel K.GASANA.
Participants to the meeting included delegates of public institutions like MINADEF, MIJEPROF and MINALOC; hospitals like King Faycal Hospital and CHUK; UN branches in RWANDA like UNICEF and HCR along with NGO’s as WORLD VISION and RED CROSS.

The Commissioner General of Police Meets Police Perssonel at Police Headquarters
23 January 2010 : CGP Emmanuel K. GASANA met Officers and personnel of the Police General Headquarters and the Central Region on Wednesday 20th of January, 2010.
In the meeting which took place at KACYIRU in the afternoon, the CGP praised the force for the good job achieved during the end of last year security operation.
He urged police officers to work hard and efficiently while maintaining the usual collaboration and above all be ready for change.

Crowd Control Management Course at PTS Gishali
15 December 2009 : 12, December, 2009 at Gishali Police Training School ended a two months crowd control and management course. The 135 participants were police officers from intervention force and were trained on rapid intervention and stopping any types of demonstrations using modern equipments. The course was organized by the Rwanda National Police in partnership with the Tanzanian Police which provided trainers. UNMIS Leader commends the Rwanda National Police
28 November 2009 : The Police Commissioner Mr. DEWAN RAJESH commended the Rwandan contingent serving in the United Nations Mission in Sudan, UNMIS for the hard work and commitment they have shown throught the year of service.
The Commissioner commended the discipline shown and stressed that such a discipline should be emulated by others.
