CGP Meets Duty-Out Police Officers from a Peace Keeping Mission in Sudan

23 July 2010 : The Commissioner General of Police (CGP) Emmanuel K. Gasana welcomed on Tuesday, July 20 2010 twenty three Rwandan police officers from a peace keeping mission in Sudan where they had spent one year.
The CGP briefed them on the stability of security in the country. He however pointed out to a few sabotage activities like the grenade attacks in Kigali and the al-shabab blast in Kampala-Uganda.

Get to Know Well Fire and Rescue Brigade

23 July 2010 : Fire and Rescue brigade is a department operating in Rwanda National Police with a mission of handling fire, cave-ins accidents and air craft crashes. In an interview on July 20 2010 with officer in charge of fire and rescue brigade Fred Gasasira, this department was initiated in 2000 after the establishment of the Rwanda National Police.

Security guaranteed during elections

19 July 2010 : GASABO - The Commissioner General of Police, Emmanuel K Gasana, has assured the public that the Rwanda National Police (RNP) will continue exercising its mandate of ensuring sustainable security before, during and after the forthcoming Presidential polls.

The Minister of Internal Security Inaugurates a Pilot House

17 July 2010 : The Minister of internal security Sheikh Musa Fazil Harerimana inaugurated on July 15 2010 a house to one Kazoba Abdoulkarim a police constable and an instructor at Police Training School in Gishari.
Kazoba was given keys by the minister to the already finished and admirable four roomed house worthy 5500000 Rwandan francs. In expressing his happiness to the crowd, kazoba said, “I was selected to be the first one to get a house”.
